Description:
A "domestic" cockroach that actually did not originate in the Americas (--likely first introduced in the 1600s) but now occurs almost everywhere humans occur in number.
Habitat:
Observed just outside a house surrounded by a large semi-urban yard & garden, near to a disturbed patch of remnant lowland forest, in the equatorial tropics of northern New Guinea.
