Looks just like the Purple Sunbird (Cinnyris asiaticus)...I am a tad confused.

Habitat:

Gardens of Erin Villa, Coonoor, Nilgiri Hills, Karnataka, India.

Notes:

Looks like the Purple sunbird...maybe I made the wrong ID?
