Elegant Golden Jumping Spider

Hi, Your posting stood out to me because you mentioned how aggressive the spider was. This species bit me on my thigh leaving me with a bite the length of a golf ball on the surface of my skin and swollen lymph nodes in my groin! When I followed him he turned around, reared up and dared me to do something. He was still dripping venom and pretty angry at me--lol. Very beautiful, but wow, my body did not react well to it's bite.

yes it is ..but its venom is harmless to humans ... and it would rather flee than bite :)
