Field Notes

Description:

The photo above is most likely a female with brown as majority of the wing color with pale shining blue wing base. Though damaged there is evidence of string-like tails and above it are black spots which are inwardly crowned with orange.

Habitat:

The gram blue in the image was found hovering around a sago cycad (cycas revoluta), probably attracted by the plant's starch and sugar.
