Description:

No gills, white bottom, brown/grey cap. Growing in grass beside the road. No vulva.

Shirt grass

Found on the side of colfax road in Denver, co

This looks like some sort of Agaricus sp. The reason that you can't see the gills is that they are covered by the cuticula that is still attached to the stem. This happens in young specimens.
