Field Notes

Description:

Eggs are tiny, yellow and oval in shaped. They are attached in a grouping, not touching each other on a single leaf. The pupa is mostly yellow in coloration with some dark brown markings. It is also secured to the leaf at the base. Images of the larvae and adults can be seen by following the links provided below.

Habitat:

Suburban yard, infesting an ornamental Willow tree.
