Description:

Small, square stemmed plant with ovate, semi-serrated leaves. Stem and leaves are hairy. The flowers are tubular and have a distinctive bump on the upper part of the bloom. Color and leaf shape can be variable. Native to eastern North America

Habitat:

Temperate forest. Rockwood Park, Midlothian, Virginia.
