Description:

Flowers grow on a tall spike. Individual flowers are thin and tubular.

Habitat:

It looked like an ornamental plant but was growing in utter neglect. Saw it in many other gardens of Coonoor as well as by the wayside.

Notes:

This flower is a bird magnet.
