Field Notes

Description:

Small green parrot with blue feathers in the tail that can be spotted against the green leaves, as it feeds. Otherwise the birds are almost invisible.

Habitat:

Fruiting trees.

Notes:

There was a small flock that came to the fruit trees everyday...these photographs were taken over two days. 12-13 May 2014.
