Description:

The greater yellowlegs breeds in the arctic and winters along the west coast of the USA, into the southern states and mexico.

Habitat:

Living wild in a pond in a safari park zoo.

Notes:

The park has a nice variety of habitats from oak woodlands to grasslands to riparian making it a great place to bird watch, and if you don't see anything good, at least you have the park's captive inhabitants to enjoy.
