Field Notes

Description:

Large leaf plant, green veiny leaves, hollow stem

Habitat:

Full sun

Notes:

We were told this was a blueberry plant we had purchased from "Whatever Works". In their description they say "GIANT BLUEBERRY PLANT" ....we have seen other blueberry plants but the leaves are so much smaller! We have had it two years and we get these huge leaves but have not seen any flowers or berries. Wondering if it is a blueberry plant or something entirely different...can u identify?

Species ID Suggestions

Princess Tree

Paulownia tomentosa

I'm not sure what that is, but it definitely isn't a blueberry. Is it woody, or does it die back to the ground every year?
