Field Notes

Description:

The largest caps in this group were about 180mm across. Remains of veil around the margin and with crusty nodules on the top.. All white. Annulus about one third down the stipe. Crowded white gills, adnate. No spore print taken.

Habitat:

Under a large group of roadside shrubs and eucalyptus trees.

Notes:

This species is possibly the same as Amanita ananiceps. If proven then the name farinacea will take precedence. <br>
