Habitat:

Monteverde frog pond exhibit.
This is a nocturnal tree frog of humid lowland and montane forest characterized by rainfall throughout the year. This species can also be found in modified habitats (with some trees) such as pastureland. Eggs are deposited in pools within streams; the larvae develop in these pools.
