Description:

Lovely dragon fly, about 2.5 inches long with a wing span of about 3-3.5 inches.

Habitat:

The backyard habitat is well landscaped to attract the flies, bees, ants, and wasps, that the dragon fly enjoys. The swimming pool also attracts the dragon fly.

Notes:

The odonatacentral is a very good reference.
