I have never seen such a beautiful butterfly "up north". This spotting makes me smile. Thanks dear bro!
Thanks Marta! Of course I had seen your amazing butterfly. It's crazy how different they can be and actually they get even darker color than mine so lets hope we will find them again later at some point. Actually if you want we can put each others spotting links to our notes section saying this is the summer brood and this spring, what do you think?
Wow! This is the second generation or summer generation of Araschnia levana. The first or spring generation is different color as you can see here: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/31355373 With your spotting and mine we can show people the two forms of this species. Neat! Thanks!
