Description:

Medium sized songbird. Black with white speckling and iridescent sheen. Shorter tail. Yellow bill. Slightly stocky.

Habitat:

Suburban yard.

Maria, I feel the same way. I find them fascinating and beautiful. I am amazed how adaptable they are. I just wish they weren't so aggressive when it comes to nesting space.
These birds are often viewed as pests and disliked as an invasive species, but I do find them quite attractive. Nice series.
