Field Notes

Description:

prickly plant all the way to the roots underground. these bothersome plants bite me when I'm picking strawberries from my patch. their seeds are spread through little ball packets the plant drops, these little seed balls are very easily broken open. I'd like to know how to keep this plant from growing in my patch without harming my strawberry plants...

Habitat:

my strawberry patch, the dirt was from the creek and is topped with potting soil
