Field Notes

Description:

A blotchy brown winged moth with a wing span of about 15 mm. The sub marginal area showed creamy white patterns with similar pale patches in the middle of the inner margins.

Habitat:

Spotted resting on wall under bright garden lights on a warm night. <br>

Notes:

These moths are seen in all eastern states of Australia. <br> I haven't found much information on this moth except that it has a synonym - Capua periopa
