Field Notes

Description:

Dark red/brown opaque wings with clear wing tips.

Habitat:

Adjacent to a small stream. Altitude 1000m.

Notes:

This dragon is very approachable. You can even sometimes raise its abdomen with your finger. Most of the time it is found perched, scanning the skies for flies. It leaps into the air, snatches the fly with consummate ease and returns to its perch.
