Description:
Large brown Scarab with digging front femora (and some mud). It has a black head and legs and some black spots on the shoulders of the elytra and the the thorax. About 2 cm long. Family Scarabaeidae.
Habitat:
Came to an ultraviolet light set up along the highway on a cliff between San Cristobal and Tuxtla Gutierrez, km 18.5, 1164 meters.
