Field Notes

Description:

Found in the Texas Hill Country, at the Enchanted Rock State Natural Area during my summer as an intern. It only seems to bloom after it rains, and the pictures shows it fully bloomed. May be some sort of clematis?

Habitat:

Texas Hill Country, Enchanted Rock State Natural Area

Notes:

Very cool flower, spotted it with Ranger James Arno while hiking in Enchanted Rock State Natural Area!
