As Amazon Awareness Week comes to a close, what better way to celebrate the wonderful wildlife of the rainforest than with this adorable juvenile sloth, which we have chosen as Spotting of the day! The three-toed sloth is built for high-rise life, spending almost all of its time in the rainforest canopy where it eats, sleeps, mates and raises its young. On land, its hind legs are so weak that it has to drag itself along the ground using its strong front legs, making it an easy target for predators such as big cats.
