Field Notes

Description:

Slightly different then the males, the females are paler. Instead of a black head they have a white stripe over each eye and one over the top of the head that ends at the back of the head. Two wing bars and pale orange chest. Body is stocky and they have large bill.
Their call is sweet and almost like a Robin's but longer.

Habitat:

Wooded areas near creeks. But they also seen sitting a top of bushes and trees.
