Description:

2 plants in a colony of Trillium cuneatum. =This is a follow up to my spotting last year (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/215...) when the flowers were fading.

Habitat:

Native USA (AL, GA, IL, KY, MD, MS, NC, PA, SC, TN, VA) rich, mostly upland woods, especially on limestone soils; also old fields, ditches, or other disturbed sites

Notes:

Spotted growing along road to Cooper's Furnace Day Use Area at Allatoona Dam Cartersville, GA
