Description:
Perennial shrub up to 1 m high found on sandy or calcareous soils associated to Holm oaks and pine trees. Without flowers can be confused with rosmary. The leaves are evergreen, opposite, simple, with convolute margins with dark green upper surface and whitish hairy lower surface. They have showy 5-petaled small white flowers with yellow-orange stamens.

Mediterranean forest with dispersed Holm oaks and pine trees.
