Description:

Small beetle. 0.5 inches long. Wing covers iridescent bronze. Thorax metallic green.

Habitat:

Common in many parts of the US in summer. Feed on leaves of trees and other plants.

Notes:

Invasive species from Japan, introduced in the early 1900's.
