Description:
Hairy plant. Leaves have three lobes that are cleft. Golden yellow flowers are produced from a long stem with smaller leaves. Bulbous base (sorry, no pictures of the base). Introduced from Europe and naturalized.
Habitat:
Petersberg National Battlefield Park, Virginia. Field.
Notes:
Somewhat poisonous when fresh. Considered invasive or weedy in many places in the U.S.
