Description:

The beetle is approximately 20-30 millimeters long, black, and can be easily recognized by the fact that the lateral edges of the pronotum and elytra have a clear metallic violet color. The violet color can change to a more bluish. The beetles of the genus Carabus have long running legs like the Bronze Carabid https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/1489469477 and the European Ground Beetle https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/886210806

Forest floor.
