Description:

A common herbaceous plant. Leaves pinnately lobed, not spiny, lower ones in a rosette. Involucral bracts with long spines. Flowers tubular, variable in color : white, yellowish to purple.

Habitat:

roadsides , disturbed land, open sunny pastures
