They don't look dried out to me from the pics. Yea, next time I'm taking pics I'll do a better job, now that I know this website exists.
Well that is the purpose of ProjectNoah... maybe next time. They look a little chalky.. do you think they might be dried out? or could be just harsh light.
Yea, I wasn't taking these pictures at the time for identification purposes.
..sorry I just expanded the pic and I think I can see 'teethy' shapes so not stereum.
I think I can see that armillaria sneaking around behind there. :) Is this the same tree as that pinkish bunch was on? The fertile surface (under side) is most helpful with these folding shelf type fungi. Pores, teeth, gills or nothing at all can tell so much. If it was smooth underneath I would guess some stereum species maybe. Needs clearer shot.
