Field Notes

Description:

Bright yellow/ orange butterfly with 2 black 'eye" markings on the wings. One "eye" was slightly blueish and the other one, slightly bigger and brown. 3 black lines following the outline of the wings.

Habitat:

Near Lower Seletar Reservoir, Yishun, Singapore. There is a big gras field at this side of the Reservoir

Notes:

I saw one yesterday in the same area, but today I saw about 4 or 5. Couldn't resist taking another picture. I will also post one of the elderly peacock pansy that joined this one.
