Field Notes

Description:

My pet bird I have two they're so cute

Habitat:

Some southeast areas in South America

Notes:

The nesting habits of this green parakeet are unique among parrots. With several other pairs, it roosts in a communal nest, which forms the center for the bird's daily activities.
The colony expands as nests are built alongside or on top of existing ones. This parakeet has a long green tail, an olive-green abdomen, and a gray-white face and throat. In some parts of South America, it is a serious agriculture pest.< 
