Description:

The male baya weaver is dark brown above with yellow streaks, a dark brown neck, a yellow breast and crown, and a short, square-cut tail. The female is plainer with a dark brown streaked upper body and whitish under body.

Habitat:

Open cultivation like paddy and other fields.
