Field Notes

Description:

Medium sized moth. Brown with yellowish markings on the upper parts of the wings. Darker on the lower parts of the wings. Pale head and thorax with small black dots. This species is sexually dimorphic. Males are more brightly colored and patterned than females.

Habitat:

Found indoors in a suburban area. Feeds on the combs of bees.

Notes:

New moth for me.
