Description:

Pacific Forktail male is identified by the 4 cornered blue spots on the thorax. The face is green and the sides of the thorax is blue. The abdomen is dark color with segments 8 and 9 being blue. The Pacific Forktails are small damselflies. Sometimes hard to spot when they land

Habitat:

spotted landing on ivy near a wooded area and creek
