Field Notes

Description:

A subspecies of the Western Ribbon Snake, the body is tan with an orangish dorsal stripe running the length of the back. On either side of that are black stripes, and there is a spot on the top of the head.

Habitat:

Found on the road in the evening. On either side of the road was flooded ditches, released him into one of them.
