Description:

Possibly a Thin-legged Wolf Spider(Genus Pardosa)? Dark spider with no obvious markings. Long hairs on legs. Fast runners. Many of these spiders were observed running through the rocks and sand on the upper part of the beach.

Habitat:

Rocky seashore. Montauk Point, New York.
