Field Notes

Description:

Very sharp looking bird, wings beak and tail all pointy and sharp. Even in flight it was so sharply edged it almost looked unnatural.
The colours were amazing, rainbow....yellow / Orange / Blue / Green / Red etcetc

Habitat:

In a garden near the beach on the way to Ella Bay , Flying Fish Point, Queensland, Australia

Notes:

I was driving when one of these flew over the car. When I stopped I saw several of these birds flying in and out of a tree in a private garden on the edge of the road. I am afraid I must have looked like a real tourist when I was struck by beauty of a bird that might be very common for the locals.
