Field Notes

Description:

A red Damselfly. This is a male and female in a tandam position. The males head, thorax and abdomen are red and the wings are black outline. The females are a reddish brown The wings sit in the same position as most Bluets along the abdomen.

Habitat:

They don't stray too far from ponds.
