Description:

stumbled upon this small snake while cycling on the trail, anyone can ID it for me? it is approximately a size of a pen. very slow moving.

rubber tree plantation/hiking/mountain bike trail

If that is Anomochilus leonardi, and I think it's likely, then that's an incredible find! Anomochilid snakes are known from only nine specimens ever collected. http://snakesarelong.blogspot.ch/2012/04/dwarf-pipesnakes.html
