I am not happy with any of the Helenor complex. Looking at the links of Peleides on BOA, I would rule outvthat one. Best guess would be Narcissus or Marinita, but the range for that one is pacific part and yours is atlantic slope. Sorry, I did not expect this one being such a tough one. Morpho peleides is quite common, but to my knowledge the taxon is no more valid, although it is still called Peleides. Actually it should be Morpho helenor peleides, but therer are other Morpho sp. which are looking almost identical. Tricky without an open wing shot. I will try to get closer later. Personally I would not use Morpho peleides as scientific ID anymore.
