Description:

This is a beatiful rose bloom I have in my yard. It has large, pink petals that fall off a few days after it blooms. It has a mildly strong fragrance to itself.

Habitat:

Good, fertile soil.

Notes:

Large, pink petals.
Large thorns along the stems.
Midly strong fragrance.
petals fall off 2-3 days after the rose blooms fully (for mine at least).

Commonly called the "Peace Rose"- this rose became very popular in the 1940's as it symbolized the ending of WWII. http://www.npwrc.usgs.gov/resource/herps/amphibid/species/bwood.htm
