Field Notes

Description:

Tiny bird with long slender beak. Rufous ,reddish brown with white underside and rufous back. May have some visible green coloring on back.

Habitat:

Trees and flowers and fence near marsh.

Notes:

Such a fun spotting. Hummingbirds in the wild have been visiting Morning Glory flowers and Birds Foot trefoil, flowers. Sometimes they rest on the fence between flowers.
