Description:

Violet colored Epipactis resembling Epipactis atrorubens. Its particularities are the shorter stem, the leaves which are spiraled and violet colored in both surfaces and the small, almost closed flowers which open very transiently* during July-August. Rare and endemic to mountains of Northwestern Greece, Pindos range and Olympos, it was spotted in Tzoumerka mountains, Epirus region, Greece.
