Common names can vary from region to region. In many northern states, "Redbird" IS the common name. My G'ma and some other older family members always called it that.

I have deleted your ID suggestion, Sargon, as they already have the scientific name in place. An update on the common name is necessary though as "red bird" is a description, not a name.
