Field Notes

Notes:

I've been seeing a crazy amount of froghopper foam around my inner SE Portland neighborhood this year. It's the first year that it's been noticeable to me inside the city, as opposed to just out in wilderness areas. I put some foam on a slide and saw a little guy in it -- I can't tell if it is a tiny nymph or just an aphid or something that got stuck in the slime.
