Hi jaymeperks, if you are referring to the Common name it is because it is written in English followed by Spanish, because it was seen in Spain. This helps the people who live in Spain to understand it and in time, learn the English names. If you are referring to the scientific name it is normally in 2 parts, called Genus and species. In some cases a third name is added to identify a Sub-species, or specific race. This is often not possible as the differences cannot be seen but in this case they can because the birds have different plumages.
