Field Notes

Description:

Large, ~4 cm long, dark gray moth with a white bar on each outer wing. Underwings were bright orange with wavy black lines.

Habitat:

Very rural area in open area of woods where a house sits.

Notes:

Attracted to moth lights/sheet.
