Field Notes

Description:

Dark brown-black wings with orange tips. Two whites spots at top leading down across the hindwings of short bands of white. Two red bars at the top and an orange red spot at the every bottom of the wing.

Habitat:

Spotted on a trail up the hills from pine trees to Black Sage.
