Field Notes

Description:

Small, brown unremarkable erebid moth, has some light brown lines that goes horizontally across its wings and a distinct dot that mirrors each other on its forewings but the camera flash drowned out the dot and made the moth even shinier, last photo is the same species taken without camera flash.

Habitat:

First specimen found in the bathroom and second was found in my garden all at night. Widespread from India through the Pacific according to Wikipedia.

Notes:

The last photo is a different specimen spotted 3 days earlier. The second one has a portion of his lower wing nipped off.
